Manual operations on sites

The manual operations on site and connection feature is used to poll unassigned controllers. For example, when a controller has been added in the system without a serial number, you can use this command to get the controller serial number.

Icon Description
"connect_to_remote_icon.png"
Connect to remote site: Click to connect to a remote site using a pre-configured dial-up connection.
"disconnect_remote_icon.png"
Disconnect remote site: Click to close the connection between this EntraPass workstation and the remote connection.
"force_disconnect_icon.png"
Force disconnect site: Force disconnect remote connection immediately, even if the system is reloading. This option is only available in a multi-site Gateway.
"disable_remaining_icon.png"
Disable remaining time: Click to stay connected until clicked again. This action disables preset connection remaining time. This action bypasses any idle time.
"update_remote_icon.png"
Update remote connection: After selecting connection, click to connect and update parameters.
"update_all_remote_icon.png"
Update all remote connections: Click to connect and update parameters on all connection starting with the first connection on the list.
"remove_site_icon.png"
Remove connection from connect and wait list: Select a connection then click to sus­pend connection after all connections had been set for update.

Reload IP Link firmware: will force a reload of the selected Kantech IP Link firmware. NOTE: For security reasons, the System Administrator may disable this button.

Broadcast IP Device: will send a signal to the selected Kantech IP Link and also the KT-400 IP controller.
