Go Pass users connected to a hattrix system can use the
SmartTap feature. The SmartTap feature uses a BLE scan to unlock the door for users with
valid access.

The SmartTap feature is turned on by default and cannot be turned off. To
configure and use the SmartTap feature with your mobile device, complete the following
steps:
Configure the SmartTap permissions in your mobile device:
For iOS devices, enable the following permissions:
Location
Notifications for SmartTap
Bluetooth access
Access to discover devices in the local network
For Android devices, enable the following permissions:
Location
Background location, only applicable for Android versions 10 and
later
Bluetooth permission, only applicable for Android versions 12
and later
To unlock the door, bring your mobile device within one foot of a reader.
To adjust the BLE filter strength in the go Pass app, use one of the following
options:
For iOS devices:
In the Settings tab, triple-tap the
Settings label.
In the Scan filter options drop-down,
select the RSSI and tap Set RSSI
Value.
For Android devices:
In the Settings tab, long-press the
Settings label.
In the Scan filter options drop-down,
select the RSSI and tap Set RSSI
Value.
