New features
EntraPass
- Multi-language feature:
- In a system with hattrix, you can now change the user interface language for accounts and operators. This user interface language can be different from the primary and secondary languages defined for the database. For more information, see Changing the system language and Changing the system language for an operator.
- When requesting a report, quick report, In/Out report, or custom scheduled report, you can now select the database language and a user interface language to execute the report in. In the report, the descriptions display in the selected database language, and the labels display in the selected user interface language. For more information, see Requesting Reports, Defining a Quick report, Requesting a In/Out Report Manually, and Defining automatic report schedules.
- OSDP communications standard implemented:
- ioSmart Gen 1 readers and ioSmart Gen 2 readers support Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP).
- Kantech KT-400, KT-4, and KT-1 controllers support Open Supervised
Device Protocol (OSDP) communication with third party readers. For more information about configuring OSDP readers connected to KT-400, KT-4, or KT-1 controllers, see Configuring an OSDP reader to a KT-400 or KT-4 controller and Configuring an OSDP reader to a KT-1 controllerNote: For optimal communication and performance between a KT-controller and ioSmart, use the encrypted Kantech RS-485 protocol.
- KT-4 four-door controller support: You can now add a KT-4 controller as a sub-type of the KT-400 controller. For more information, see Configuring a KT-4 controller.
Limitations
- Integration DLL on KT-4 and KT-NCC Gen 2: No integration panel works with the KT-4 or KT-NCC Gen 2 for this release
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 are removed because Microsoft no longer provides support. Customers can still manually install it to support the Panasonic integration.
