Configuring a KT-4 controller

You can add a KT-4 controller as a sub-type for the KT-400 controller. When you connect the KT-4 controller to the EntraPass system, the system detects the controller type and updates the information in the Controller window. Or, to manually add the KT-4 controller to the EntraPass system, complete the following steps:
  1. On the EntraPass workstation, click Devices>Controller.
  2. From the Gateway drop-down, select the correct gateway.
  3. From the Connection drop-down, select the KT-4 controller connection.
  4. From the Controller list, select the KT-4 controller.
    By default, in the General tab the KT controller type is KT-400 and the Controller sub type is KT-4.
