Unlocking floors from elevator doors

  1. Select an elevator door or a group of elevator doors.
  2. Click the Unlock elevator floors button in the toolbar to unlock a previously locked floor. This command only enables the elevator floors that are defined with an “X” in the column of the Floor group Definition menu. If you do this, the system prompts you to select a floor group that should be unlocked and available. When you select the group, the system prompts you to confirm the operation.
Note: For a door defined with an “automatic unlocking schedule,” floors remain available until the next valid change of the unlocking schedule, or an operator manually locks the door.

A door defined without an unlocking schedule can only be locked by a manual command. To lock all previously unlocked floors, use the Unlock option in the Manual operation on doors menu.

When a manual unlocking operation is completed, only floors that are defined with an “X” in the field of the Floor Group Definition menu are available for selection. Also, when communication is lost and the controllers are working in stand-alone mode, only the floors marked with an “X” are available for selection and the access schedule is ignored.
