Adding a cardholder |
1 - Click the Cardholder tab, and click the Add button.
2 - In the Name field, enter the full name of the cardholder.
3 - In the Card number field, choose between a five or six digit numerical Wiegand 26-bit format, or a 32-bit global card format. The default card format is HHHH:DDDDD (hexadecimal and decimal 32-bit) for v7.40 and higher. For more information on card formats, see the EntraPass manual, in the Options section, Defining a card display format.
4 - In the End date & Exp. Hour field, select the date you want the card to expire. If you select an end date, the card ceases to function after this date.
5 - In the E-mail field, enter an e-mail address.
6 - In the Card Type field, select the appropriate type from the list.
7 - Optional: For hattrix systems, in the Filter field, select the appropriate building to assign to the cardholder.
8 - Select the Trace check box, if you want to generate an event every time the user presents the card at a reader. You can request and generate a report containing the card traced event.
9 - Select the Lost/Stolen field, if the user reports the card as lost or stolen. The card ceases to function.
