Sites and gateways

A site is composed of one or many physical connections.

A gateway controls communications between the door controllers and the server. In the case of a network communication interruption with the server, the gateway assumes complete management of a site. EntraPass Corporate Edition uses a multi-site gateway, and EntraPass Global edition and hattrix use a global gateway.

Adding a connection

1  - Click the Add button to create a new site.

2  - In the Primary language field, enter the site name.

3  - Optional: In the Secondary language field, enter the site name in a different language.

4  - Complete the Site information fields appropriate to the site. Click Save.

 

Note...

Use EntraPass workstation to create and edit a gateway.

 

Editing a site

Select the site, and click the Edit button.
