1 - Select a tenant list from the left pane, and click Add tenant.
2 - If you want to define the tenant and activate immediately, click Enable
3 - If you want to define the tenant and not activate immediately, click Disable.
4 - In the Name field, enter the full name of the tenant.
5 - In the ID field, enter the tenant’s ID. This is the tenant’s identification code and a visitor uses it to call the tenant.
6 - In the PIN field, enter the tenant’s PIN. This is the tenants Personal Identification Number (PIN).
7 - In the Card number output area, select one of the following options:
• In the Card number field, enter the card number.
• Click Link with a cardholder, select a cardholder from the table, and click Link. The cardholder’s name appears in the Card number output area.
8 - In the Phone number field, enter the tenant’s phone number. Select a schedule for the phone number.
9 - In the Second phone number field, enter a second number for the tenant. Select a schedule for the phone number.
When a visitor wants to call a tenant, they use the KTES directory. If there is no answer from the first phone number, the KTES uses the second phone number.
The absence of a first phone number means the KTES cannot call the tenant.
You can save the tenant at this stage without completing the additional options. The system automatically saves the option defaults for the tenant.
Options
1 - From the Start date field, select a start date . Today’s date is the default.
2 - From the End date field, select an end date . The End date is when the tenant is no longer valid and cannot access the system.
3 - From the Administration level list, select one of the following:
• Tenant
• Maintenance
• Owner
• Installer
4 - From the Do not disturb schedule list, select a schedule. Use this to put the tenant in a “Do not disturb” status.
• To remove the tenants name from the directory list, when in a Do not disturb schedule, select the Hide from list (do not disturb schedule) check box.
5 - In the Card number output area, select one of the following options:
• In the Card number field, enter the card number.
• Click Link with a cardholder, select a cardholder from the table, and click Link. The cardholder’s name appears in the Card number output area.
6 - If you want to display the current tenant’s name, select the Show tenant check box.
7 - If you want to prioritize the tenant in the KTES, select the Prioritize in display list check box. The KTES displays non-prioritized tenants in alphabetical order.
8 - If you want to activate a relay, or generate a traceability event, select the Trace check box.
9 - If you want to extend the number of telephone rings, select the Extended ring check box.
10 - If you want to extend the unlock time for a door, select Extended door access delay.
